Join us as we celebrate Black History Month. We want students to embrace excellence by helping them discover gems from their past. We want all students to know that black history is American history. Even in the midst of struggle and discrimination black people past and present have persevered.  We celebrate an amazing spirit of resilience by highlighting the rich accomplishments and innovations of African Americans. Black History Month is a great starting point to engage your students, but the best practice is to acknowledge black excellence all year long.
