Kenneth Dunkley

Kenneth Dunkley is an African American inventor. Have you ever seen a movie in 3-D before. If so, you have Kenneth Dunkley to thank for that. While he was researching human vision, he discovered that he could create a visual effect without the use of special lenses, mirrors, or optical effects. After making his discovery he filed a patent for Three Dimensional Viewing Glasses also known as 3-D glasses. Kenneth was also a leading African American man in holography which is the science of making holograms. His work and discoveries are foundational in the way we view films today.
